Bumpdate: 28 Weeks!!

Hello third trimester!! I can't believe it's already here. I remember thinking that when I was in the third trimester we would be so close to the end. It felt like it would never get here. Then BAM! Here it is! It's hard to take it all in.
This is at 27 weeks. I call this my Dreamsicle dress because it gets lights as it gets longer.

How big is baby? The size of an eggplant. I saw a picture of a baby at 28 weeks the other day and it looked like a baby! I know you're thinking, "what else would it look like". I know, I know. But she can survive. She actually looks like a baby should look. Can you tell I'm totally amazed by all of this?!

Maternity ClothesYep.

Stretch Marks: I found another stretch mark. We are up to two. The newest one is really small though.

Sleep: Eh, okay. Still sleeping on the couch so I can sit up. I told J I was going to buy lots of pillows so I can sleep back in the bed with him. He told me that would probably just move him to the spare room :( We need a king size bed. Stat.

Best moment of the week? The glucose test being OVER! I'll admit I was quite the drama queen about it and expected to pass out and throw up. So, when I only had hot flashes and felt sick to my stomach it was a win!

Movement: Feeling it every day!

Food cravings: Iced tea and watermelon still. LOVE!!

Food aversions: No aversions, but nothing sounds good...except for watermelon.

Belly button in or out? In...praying it doesn't pop.

What I miss: Not having hip pain and sleeping well.

What I'm looking forward to: NOT getting a call from the doctor about my glucose test. That will mean I have passed!! So hopefully I don't hear from them. Also looking forward to my friend's baby shower this Sunday. She's a month ahead of me! (We did not plan our pregnancies together)

Milestones:  Third trimester, glucose test done, one more monthly appointment then it goes to bi-weekly, starting to read about the Bradley method (any advice?), and praying our house sells so we can get packing and know what is going to happen and where we will be when H arrives!

  3. The time has flown by!

I didn't start using my body pillow in my first pregnancy until around 7 months. It helped under my tummy a lot. This time around, I've used it since the beginning and it's made a world of a difference. (And I have bad hip pain too, since delivering my daughter.)
