Five On Friday!

THE GOOD LIFE BLOG

{one}

I scheduled a mani/pedi/eyebrow wax for today. I'm am SO excited about this. Perfect timing for baby showers this weekend. My eyebrows are a mess and I refused to touch them this week. Poor girl who has to  wax them!

We have two showers this weekend. One on Saturday and one on Sunday. Lots of recaps for you next week! We feel incredibly thankful and blessed to have such a caring family to host these showers for us. We also feel so lucky to have so many friends and family members who already love Miss Hadley!

I bought six ears of corn for just me. J hates corn but I' so excited to try out the first batch of the season!

Never boil corn again! Want to know the easiest way to cook corn on the cob? Throw it in the oven at 350° for 25-30 minutes. That’s it. Leave the husk on, it will trap in the moisture, leaving you with juicy, tender corn. The husk and silk will peel away easily once it’s cooked. Cut off the large end and it slides right out with no silk.

I was a cooking machine this week. Be sure to check out my Menu Monday this coming Monday. Remember I am now adding a freezer meal of the week to each MM post.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'm so thankful to be having a great pregnancy so far. I pray every day it continues and I have an equally great labor and delivery experience. I think healthy eating and positive thoughts have really helped. Yes, I eat crap sometimes and yes I complain, but overall I want it to be a positive experience.
